Kayou Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Card Collection Rarity Guide

I recently started collecting the hopefully first of many series of card collection series of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End by the Chinese trading card company Kayou.

I couldn’t find any rarity guide online, so I thought I’d share a regular update on what my collection looks like to show you what the rarity structure is, in case you also plan to collect the cards.

This are the cards in my collection at the moment.

For the images below, please note that I have only scanned the cards that are present in my collection. I will update this post as soon as I add new ones in my collection. To fund this hobby, I also decided to sell some of my duplicates. You will see a link to the shop if I have cards available for sale. Thank you very much!

PSR CARDS

The PSR cards are longer cards that are free when you buy an album box. An album box includes one Frieren binder and four loose packs. From what I can deduce from the photos from online shops, there are nine cards in total for this rarity.

PLOT CARDS

The most common cards are plot cards. There are 42 different plot cards, the first 22 are scene cards while the other 22 are character cards. For my Frieren cards binder, I want to collect at least two of these cards because I also want to display the back side of the cards.

For each loose pack, three of the five cards are plot cards.
