Get a Ghibli postcard from Japan and help me fund this blogsite

Dear friends,

I have Ghibli postcards at home and for my birthmonth October soon, I’ll be bringing them along my trip from Tokyo to Hokkaido and then back to Tokyo.

I’m posting this in case anyone’s interested to receive handwritten personal messages on a postcard stamped with an eki stamp from any of the train stations where I’ll be making a stopover. (Because DMs and text messages are boring and physical postcards hit differently.) For those who love collecting stamps, this is also your opportunity to get a Japanese stamp to add to your collection.

If you’re not a fan of Ghibli, I can also offer a random postcard from places in Japan.

If you’d like to receive one, I’ll be asking for a small fee and you’ll also be helping me
1. keep this blogsite alive (because the deadline for the next payment for the hosting is coming up), and
2. have a side quest on my birthday.

I’ll be taking videos of me writing on the postcards, stamping an eki stamp on the postcards, and dropping them in the mail. I guarantee that your full name and mailing address will not make it into the final edit of the video.

Since the postcards will be sent by mid-October from Sapporo in Hokkaido, expect that you will receive yours by late October or November.

How to participate:
1. Send me an email via ra@ravstheworld.com.
2. I’ll send you a list of my planned destinations and you’ll choose a station for the eki stamp.
3. Optional: Mention anything you’d like me to include in the message. If you want a Ghibli postcard, feel free to also mention your preferred movie.

You can also send me a message through this Facebook page:

Please share this post to your friends, too. 🥺👉👈

I have videos about my postcrossing journey. Feel free to watch them here:
